Ellen's Dog Bawl

Speaking of crazy people who live in California, Giselle and I are back from San Francisco. We went out there for the 100th anniversary of the California College of the Arts (formerly CCAC). We were a bit underwhelmed by the celebration events themselves. The BBQ at the Oakland campus felt like somebody's backyard birthday party rather than a Centennial celebration. And the SF Campus party was ok. Plenty of beer and wine but the food was too San Fracisco/PC for me...common' who the hell wants to eat vegetarian sushi? What's the point?

President Rivera

It was dumbfounding to hear the President of Iran say that there were no homosexuals in his coutry. I'm sure it's a tourism ploy. You know, to attract ohhh so lucrative homophobic tourism market.

It was an odd week. I went to the Digital Life Expo, the In-Store Marketing Expo, and the Diabetes Expo. But the oddest thing was the dinner we had with our friends Lynda and Bruce. It was at Ninja NY, a ninja theme restaurant in Tribeca. Yes, ninja. The waiters jump out of the dark hallways and brandish fake swords before they seat you. Oh and did we mention that they send magicians to do tricks at your table. They too are dressed as ninja. Like I said, it was odd.
