Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving Y'all. We've driven up to Plimoth Plantation in the town of Plymouth, MA to celebrate Thanksgiving. As you can see from the photo I took, we were soaked to the bone. Kind of made us appreciate Thanksgiving dinner so much more.

Rumsfeld Resigns

The elections, blah-blah-blah. Some shit different politician. The real big news is the launch of the new PS3 and Wii. The PS3 is shipping with some really nice looking games but I'm not going to shell out $600!

The Wii's only $250 and has an intuitive new controller that I'm dying to try. I'm just hoping both will drive down the price of the XBox 360 because I really want to play Gears of War, who's TV commercial as brilliantly atypical.

Voting on Gay Marriage

It's Mid-Term elections day.....yay.

When we were down in Nashville we got to see some of the political ads in Tennessee. Sheesh and I thought the ads in NY/NJ were skeezy. Those politcal ads were getting really ugly.

Remember that bad joke that John Kerry made about getting sent to Iraq. Here's a reply from some of the troops there.

Got to love our boys in the military. They have a great sense of humor.

Halloween Attitude

It was a gorgeous Halloween night here in NY. Temp was in the high 60's and clear. We got our fair share of trick-or-treaters at our door. We opted to stay in as we were both exhausted from our travels to Nashville last week for the Indoor Tanning Expo and Washington D.C. for a 1 day stop-over.

Yes, there is an expo for indoor tanning. A convention center full of lotion manufacturers, bed makers, bulb suppliers and all sorts of people inspecting, looking, and trying to get free stuff. It was certainly an experience.

We spent most of our day in D.C. at the Air and Space museum. And we walked from one end of the mall to the other, past the Washington monument, through the World War II Memorial and ending at the Lincoln Memorial. By the end of the day, we were pretty worn out.
