Merry Christmas
I'm happy to say the transit strike is over, though I'm still pissed off at the union boss for ordering it. But as this is the season of giving, I'm not going to dwell on it...much.
I hope you and yours have a very Merry Christmas.
Tonys Mentor
It's just two weeks to Christmas! I just got back from a business trip to Dallas and Columbus on some Planet Tan projects. And last weekend, I celebrated my birthday (G got me a PSP!). I'm avoiding the various ad industry holiday parties this week. Maybe I'm just getting old but I'm just too beat.
Shroeder Outed
Well Thanksgiving in Plymouth was pretty cool. We even saw re-enactment villagers butcher their own turkey! Who knows, we might do it again next year.
We got to talking the other day about our favorite Christmas movies like "It's a Wonderful LIfe", "A Christmas Story", "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" (the original not the Jim Carrey version) and then got into a debate about whether the Heat Miser was in "Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer" or not (he wasn't, he was in "The Year Without a Santa"). The one group favorite was "A Charlie Brown Christmas". And that's where this AIA's conversation came up.
Speaking of which, the next time you see "Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer", tell me there isn't a whole 'nother meaning to what's going on with Rudolf and especially Hermey the elf?
