Britney Presbyterians

It finally snowed, though briefly, today. It's been unusually warm here in the East Coast though for the rest of the country it's been a harsh winter. Two words: El NiƱo. When we were briefly in SF last week for MacWorld it was colder there than in NY.

And yes, the new iPhone is pretty sexy. It's funny hearing the nay-sayer 'tech experts' on TV poo-pooing it saying it's too expensive. Duh, it's a status symbol. You don't buy a Ferrari because you need a car to drive. Anybody with an iPhone will be the shizite.

Happy New Years Rant

Happy New Year!

I know some of you haven't heard from me since my birthday in December, but I had take a little AIA break to do Christmas shopping, send out cards and catch up on my Planet Tan workload. Created a bunch of in-store videos, a new TV spot and a re-did all 10 store menus and displays as part of a remodel effort for 2007. So I'm making up for the lack of AIA's by this longer than usual nerd rant.

While choosing the image for this AIA, I went looking for a scene from the 2004 film, "The Girl Next Door" staring Elisha Cuthbert (the daughter on '24'). It occurred to me that Elisha would have made a much better 'Mary Jane' than the rather lame Kirsten Dunst. With the new 'darker' Spiderman 3 coming out, it just reminds me again how much Dunst has been a weak link in the films.

Ok. Rant over. I'll leave you with this: 90% of people make 'losing weight' their New Year's resolution. I thought I'd post this image or irony. May 2007 be a prosperous and happy one for you.
