14lb Baby

Finished that new TV spot for Planet Tan I shot with those film students in Dallas. I'll send it to you guys as soon as I get it posted to YouTube.

We've been getting some new baby news from a number of our friends. Some have started blogs and all have showed us their cool 3D sonograms. Kind of creepy and cool to see a baby inside you like that.

And of course now that it's the Year of the Pig (which bodes for abundance) I hear that there's a rush to have babies this year in China "Over a billion served".

St. Pattys Blizzard

I got stuck at the Dallas airport this weekend when my flight got canceled due to that crazy post-winter snow storm. I spent my St. Patrick's at a Bennigan's near the motel.

They canceled most of the flights to NY because they didn't want a repeat of the Valentines day blizzard debacle at JFK when those JetBlue passengers ended up getting stuck on the tarmack for as long as 11 hours!

It could be worse. The new Airbus A380 just had it's first test flight in the US. It's the largest passenger plane in the world with room for 549 passengers. Which one day will be filled with be 549 angry passengers.

WOW

Have you heard of World of Warcaft? If you haven't be afraid. Be very, very afraid.

I've been avoiding it for 3 years now because I knew it would be a huge time suck. But considering they've made a South Park episode about it and close to 9 million people play it, I felt compelled to play it.

Giselle and I have been playing World of Warcraft and got sucked into playing in a virtual world with the millions of other people ranging in age from 10 to 40 (from what we could gather from the text dialogue and behavior of the other players). Just like crack, the first time's free. In this case the first month, then you have to pay $15/mo to continue playing.

We've decided to stop after the free month is over, which is this week, so we've been staying up and trying to squeeze the last bit of playing time. By the way, I made it up to level 28 Night Elf Warrior. Whoot!
