Banned in Dallas

This story in this week's AIA is completely true. I got a call today and was told by the media company that only 1 radio station in Dallas would run the spot (KDGE the Edge which is their alt Rock station.) The other stations said that the spot was offensive to women. Hello?! It's called Ironic humor, look it up.

The spot in question can be downloaded here (if you can't listen to the Edge in your area).

How come the words "boob job" is considered offensive but the cat calls aren't? Also, how come doctors can advertise breast implant surgery but this radio spot can't air?

And by the way, here's that footage of Ashlee Simpson getting booed for he terrible singing at the Orange Bowl the other week.

Happy New Jahr

That means "Happy New Year" in German. Giselle and I went to Switzerland for New Years. It happened to be one of the coldest weeks on record in Europe. Brrrr!

It was great to be back in Switzerland, as I haven't been back since I did an exchange semester there in college. We were in this tiny mountainside town of Eischoll near the Matterhorn. It was literally on a mountainside (the way up to town is on a cable gondola.) We took a day trip to Milan and spent New Years Eve in Zürich and flew back on New Years Day!
